Oral Interp participants will compete on Monday, October 30 in Chamberlain. The Oral Interp team is directed by Tammie Foley.

The all-state concert will be broadcast live on SDPB TV and will be rebroadcast on Thanksgiving Day. Students representing White River are Savannah Knispel, soprano, Brooklynn White Hat, alto, Brendy Bartlett, tenor and Liam White Hat, bass.
Good Luck Elijah and Kingston as they represent White River at the state XC meet in Sioux Falls this weekend!! GO TIGERS!

Mrs. Twite took 16 students to Region Band on Monday, October 16. Region Band was held in Kadoka this year. The students practiced their songs all day and had a performance that evening. Good job Tigers!
Five students attended the All State Choir Workshop in Mitchell with Mrs. Twite on Tuesday, October 10. They had a great day rehearsing the music but also took in a few attractions! Students in the group are: Trinity Benedict, Savannah Knispel, Brendy Bartlett, Brooklyn White Hat, and Liam White Hat.
The White River Tigers had a successful regional meet on Wednesday, October 11, in Philip. Elijah Haukaas placed 9th and Kingston DeSersa placed 15th. They will run at the State Cross Country Meet in Sioux Falls on Saturday, October 21.
Evan Krogman (21st), Jaxon Krogman (22nd), and Mateo Black Bear (27th) also ran strong for the Tigers. Each region takes the top 20 runners to the state meet. The Tigers finished their regular season finishing 3rd in their region! Congrats Tigers!!

IHS Public Health Nursing will be in the Janklow Room on Oct 5th at 9:00 a.m. offering flu shots. These are for IHS-eligible students and staff. The nursing staff will go to Norris after they finish in White River. Please contact the school your child attends if you have any questions.

Today's parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. Students will be dismissed 15 minutes after the conclusion of the parade. The alumni tailgate begins at 5:00 p.m. at the football field. There will be food and drinks served. Finally, come cheer on the Tigers during the football game beginning at 7:00 p.m.
