White River FCCLA hosted a blood drive on March 7th in the Don Barnhart Gym.
There were 20 units donated with 12 new donors that signed up! Vitalant was the organization that provided the services and students helped with sign-in. Savannah Knispel and Brendy Bartlett signed in people throughout the day. Mostly high school students and teachers donated with a few community members also helping out! Students were involved with the blood drive by having them help with sign-in, encouraging to donate, and the Fundamentals of Foods class made the baked goods for the donors after they got finished donating! Mrs. Kinsley is the advisor for FCCLA.
